Shankar was our guide on a 10-day trek in February 2001. He is in extremely kind and devoted guide that will do anything to make the trek as good an experience as possible. He has studied English at the university, which enables him to explain about the things you see and any questions you might have about nature, culture or human behavior. He has a broad knowledge and is a very eager storyteller. He is calm and good at adjusting to the people he accompanies on a trek + he is good at handling unforeseen situations. For instance a thunderstorm surprised us on our trek, which made it impossible to sleep in the tents. Shankar arranged for us to sleep at a private loft. Our trek was a really great experience, and we have kept in contact with Kamal all the years after that one trek.
And if we in the future get the time and the money to visit Nepal again, there would be no doubt in our minds - Shankar would be our guide and his Company High Himalaya Society Trekking again! He is an extraordinary person!
Dear Mr. Shankar
I am observing you for the past few years since my earlier trip to Muktinath. The decisions you take are not 'business like' decisions, but they always have a human touch, which brings you more and more admirers like me. This, I am sure, will automatically increase the business volumes.
I am sure I will look forward to many more trips with you and your team and recommend to our friends. May your tribe increase!
With warm regards

We thank you for making this marvelous adventure possible to Everest Base Camp trekking, and look forward to returning someday to Chola Pass Trekking and Mera peak Climbing.
Saurav was an excellent guide and assisting us and responsible for meals were Kabi and Bhuwan. We felt well taken care from the beginning – our health and well being were paramount.
Saurav advice on take a day hike to acclimatize, breathing and conserving strength at altitude was practical and well taken.
The Sherpas and assistant guides worked hard setting up camp, tents with our thermorests were always ready when we came into camp. Hot water for washing was available morning and afternoon and greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for everything you did. Everyone agrees it was the best trek ever and we all want to come back again.

The wonderful trekking went on a Everest Base Camp and Chola Pass, Gokyo in the central Himalayan range. We hiked in the Everest National Park. When we first got there, we met the High Himalaya Society Trekking. Dipak was pretty good. We had stops for lunch every day. We also had hot chocolate, apple cider, and tea at dinner. In the morning, we had hot chocolate. At night, we told some funny stories and some ghost stories. They were funny and scary! I had a blast! It was very, very, very FUN!
Real Adventure Nepal Treks & Expedition and Shankar planned the trip of a lifetime for us. We had not traveled to Nepal Annapurna Himalaya before, so welcomed High Himalaya familiarity with Annapurna Base Camp Trekking.
All the facilities were wonderful. We were treated like friends and family by all the hosts. Annapurna Base Camp, our ultimate destination, was outstanding. We indulged in gourmet meals, enjoyed extremely comfortable accommodations and hugely enjoyable trekking, led by Pawan. Spending time with the entire trekking was a joy.
Real Adventure Nepal expertise allowed us to enjoy a dramatic vacation without hassle. From beginning to end, we knew where to go, and what to expect. In all ways, reality exceeded our expectations.

Dear Real Adventure Nepal Trekking Crews,
I had a fantastic three weeks long Manaslu Round trekking with your company. Your hospitality and friendliness was absolutely fantastic and I very much enjoyed with my trekking.
The rafting was the best! Dinner, lunch and breakfast were delicious and compliment the tent perfectly ... Once again, absolutely fantastic, I just loved it and I hope to see you again sometime soon.
